I have never beat Top 10 player, so it‘s my biggest win of my career. It‘s just beginning! So let‘s go!" said Andrej Martin after the match.
Next to beat was Corentin Moutet from France. Andrej Martin won against him 6-3 6-4 and then he played against Roberto Carballes Baena in the semi-finals to whom he lost! Martin earned 102 ATP points in this tournament so far. "Despite of losing semi final, it is a good start of the season. I managed to find my game during the tournament, I dealt with a lot of difficult moments and beat good players. It‘s good thing to build on. And special thanks to all people who support me, it always helps me and it feels great. In the end, I‘m very happy that I could be present today at first ATP title in doubles for Hans Podlipnik (almost my brother). Proud of you!" said Martin.
