Daria Kasatkina is going to play tournaments in Beijing, Linz and Moscow

EMPIRE Tennis Academy member Daria Kasatkina together with her coach Vladimir Platenik and her brother are on Asian tour. Daria made 3rd round at Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open, after starting in qualies. Now she awaits tournament in Beijing.

Because Daria Kasatkina was not signed up for tournament in Wuhan, China, she had to play the qualies. She beat Lucia Hradecka from Czech Republic in three sets and then French Parmentier in the final. "Daria made it complicated for herself against Hradecka, next two matches she played really well. In Round 2 against American Chirico, she played decent tennis and it was enough. In R16 against Keys, conditions were not easy. Strong wind and Keys was on top of her game in those conditions. Daria lost (1-6, 6-4, 4-6), had too much respect, but I hope she will have more confidence against her in future," said Vladimir Platenik for www.empire-tennis-academy.com.

Headcoach of the academy expects difficult end to the season, because Daria defends points from semi-final in Moscow. "She will be under pressure, but the season is successful so far. We know what to work on in the coming weeks, we seem to be  on the right track," added Vladimir Platenik. Daria Kasatkina continues to Beijing after Wuhan. Then she comes back to Europe to play in Linz and will conclude the season in Moscow.
