Dubrivnyy takes junior title in Bochum

Russian EMPIRE Tennis Academy member, coached by Karol Beck, Artem Dubrivnyy achieved significant success at Grade 2 tournament in Germany.

Artem Dubrivnyy showed his dominance in Bochum, as he did not drop a single set. He beat Ukrainian Mashtakov 6-1, 6-1. "Artem showed the best performance from the three matches he played in this tournament so far. His opponent was a difficult one, moved well around the court. Lot of games were played over deuce, but Artem served well and won the important points. On Friday he plays semi-final against another good player American Tsygura. If he played like today, I believe he has good chances to win," said coach Karol Beck after quarterfinal win in Bochum.
After semi-final win 6-1, 7-5 over American Tsygura, Dubrivnyy played the final against Swedish Ziverts. Dubrivnyy won the title after beating his Swedish opponent in two sets 6-3, 6-0. "Final was played indoors and Artem played superb tennis after being in danger of losing his serve at 3-3, 15:40. He won his serve and played very well afterwards. He was strong on return and very patient from the baseline. He showed great performances from the quarterfinals onwards and he deserves the title," said Karol Beck
Artem Dubrivnyy will be rewarded with 100 points into the combined junior ITF ranking.
