Vivien Juhaszova is going through very successful period in her career. She is rising in the WTA rankings, first time reached top 500 in singles ranking. And now in Wiesbaden, Germany, she reached semi-final.

ITF tournament with prize money of 25 000 USD was played from 25, April until 1, May on clay in TC BIERSTADT E.V. Vivien Juhaszova won both her qualification matches without dropping set at the start of the tournament. Then, in the first round, she eliminated Bucko from Bosnia and Hercegovina 4-6, 6-0, 6-1. In the second round, she made the biggest upset of the tournament, beating second seed, No. 172 WTA player Barbara Haas in two sets 6-1, 6-4. She was successful in quarterfinal as well, taking two sets 7-5, 6-4 from Belgian Boeykens.
"My opponent made lot of errors. At 5-1 she started feeling more relaxed, hitting few good shots, but I managed to take the set despite her comeback. Sixth game of second set was crucial, getting into lead 4-2. I started to dominate on the court. Being 5-2 up, I lost two games against strong wind, but I managed to win the match in the end. I am happy I played what we have agreed with the coach. I was concentrating until the end," said Vivien Juhaszova (coached by Martin Durdik) for www.empire-tennis-academy.com.
On Saturday, Vivien Juhaszova lost in the semi-final against Victoria Kan, despite giving a good fight on the court, losing the match in three dramatic sets 6-3, 4-6, 2-6.
Vivien will be awarded with 18 WTA points into the ranking for reaching semi-final.
