I won the important game to make it 2-4, it gave me lot of positive energy and hope into the first set. It was much better from me afterwards. I would like to thank all my Slovakian fans, who were fantastic. There were many of them in the stands," said Andrej Martin for www.empire-tennis-academy.com.

"Match was great, Klizo had the upper hand in the beginning, but I took the initiative later on. It was more difficult for Klizo. I was lucky as well as I managed to win important points. He had five matchpoints, but I was very calm and played well. I felt well on the court in the rallies, I was not afraid to play risky bals and win them. It was mentally a boost for me," said Andrej Martin for www.empire-tennis-academy.com.

In quarterfinal, Andrej Martin had the challenge in person of Portuguese Joao Sousa. Slovakian won the match in three sets 6-3, 4-6, 6-2! He was break down, he stepped up to the occasion and finished the game in style. He played well from his forehand, world class quality. He won lot of points from it.
