Sramkova in great form, wins the title in Italy!

Rebecca Sramkova, Rome, ITF title

Rebecca Sramkova from EMPIRE Tennis Academy continues in great performances. After reaching final in Brittish Ikley on grass, she made another final in Rome at 25K tournament, taking the title, beating Hungarian Jani.

Rebecca Sramkova did not have any problems changing the grass courts for clay. She was very happy after quarterfinals win against Italian Paolini 6-3, 4-6, 6-1. "It was not as easy it may have looked coming from grass on clay, different balls, different surface characteristics. I started today’s match well, but it was too hot and I rushed to finish the match as soon as possible, which was not good. I made too many unforced errors. I lost the second set after my errors. I played third set with calm head and I did not let my opponent do any harm. I am happy to win another difficult match and looking forward semi-final," said Rebecca Sramkova before the semi-final for www.empire-tennis-academy.com website.
Rebecca Sramkova beat Shapatava 6-3, 6-3 to fight for the title against Hungarian Jani. Slovakian player dominated the final and won it, perhaps easier than expected, in two sets 6-1, 6-1.
This is second title this year for Sramkova after winning in April in Karashi, Uzbekistan. She will improve her career highest WTA ranking, at the moment she occupies 208th place.
Rebecca Sramkova will be rewarded with fifty points into the WTA ranking.
