Stankovska defeated Petrovicka at ITF U18 Zilina Open

ITF U18 Zilina Open 2017 singles final was played in TK Zilina with double participation of  TC EMPIRE Trnava: Nina Stankovska and Kiara Petrovicka.

Winner of the tournament will receive 40 points to the combined ITF junior rankings, runner up will get 30 points. Nina Stankovska and Kiara Petrovicka are both coached by Rene Hanak, Stankovska won the match 6:3, 6:2.

I've been playing pretty well in Zilina, so I tried to enjoy this tournament even though I'm ill since Friday. Final match with Kiara was, of course, rather demanding from the psychological point of view, since we play and practice together. We are friends, and it looked this way from my side at the beginning. But when I started using my forehand, I managed to win, so I'm happy," added Nina Stankovska for www.tcempire.sk.
Nina Stankovska won one month ago at Moravia Steel Sparta Cup in Praha. She is currently at number 256 in the junior’s rankings, which will be even better after this weekend.
