Tereza Mihalikova wins the title in Sharm El Sheikh

Tereza Mihalikova, the title, Sharm El Sheikh

EMPIRE Tennis Academy player Tereza Mihalikova won the singles tournament at Soho Square Egypt F33 Women’s Future.

Soho Square Egypt F33 Women’s Future was played outdoor on hard, with total prize money 10 000 USD. Tereza Mihalikova did not drop a single set until the final. In semi-final beat Indian Druthi Tatachar in two sets 7-5, 6-3. Her final match against fourth seed Ana Veselinovic was bit more difficult, but Terezia showed her fighting spirit and after losing the first set won next two to take to win the match in three sets 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.
"Tereza played pretty well from the first match and she did not drop a set until the final. Final was played in strong wind and her opponent adapted quicker to the extreme weather conditions. Tereza started to play better in the second set, played her game, was chasing her opponent around and improved serve. Third set did not start the way we wanted, but Tereza was the more confident player in the crucial rallies," said coach Jan Studenic for www.empire-tennis-academy.com.

Tereza Mihalikova takes 12 points into the WTA ranking. Slovakian player owns five ITF titles, three from Sharm El Sheikh, one in Cairo and one from Manama.
