Recently, Tereza Mihalikova has pleased Slovak tennis fans when she won the single junior title at the Australian Open in Melbourne. Alongside with coach Jan Studenic, she is training for the clay part of the season and she has found some quality sparring partners in TC EMPIRE Trnava.

Tereza was playing with the players of the EMPIRE Tennis Academy formed last year. Her sparring partners were the Russian players Darya Kasatkina & Artem Dubrivnyy and Slovak Vivien Juhaszova. "I know Darya, she is a tough opponent. It was my first match on clay after the season on hard surfaces which I have finished at the tournaments in Egypt. We played three sets with Kasatkina and my game was getting better," said Mihalikova for www.empire-tennis-academy.com. Her coach Jan Studenic was also pleased with the quality sparrings. "Overall, it was excellent. Kasatkina is now doing very well and she is moving up in the WTA rankings," said coach and added few more reasons of their arrival to Trnava. "I try to have good relationships with everybody. We want to be welcomed anywhere to play and have sparrings. There are lot of people in Bratislava and Trnava whom I have met since my coaching career begun," concluded Studenic.
