"Started playing tennis in Nove Mesto nad Vahom. I have five years older sister, she started playing then and lasted until 18. I started playing with her, our father was there of course. Jozo Buk was my coach afterwards. First half a year, I used the wall to hit the balls onto, but I really enjoyed it because I spent 5-6 years playing there. They had to take me away from there. These days, children have no idea about tennis wall, but it is the best training to start with. I used to make a run every morning at half past six, and when I came back I made some pull ups. I liked it, I did it every day. I was the best at the HTO (We’re looking for tennis olympians) tournaments. When my parents saw it, they supported me."

"I was nonstop first in youth category of U12 in Slovakia. Afterwards, Karol Beck and I were battling for the first spot. Until we turned 18, it was us two dominating youth tennis in Slovakia. I rank my doubles challengers winners among my best achievements. All the wins you achieve are great. First title from Bratislava challenger in 2009 was a highlight. It was great to win it at home. Home titles taste better much better, because your family is there and they are all excited. I recall one second round match in Wimbledon 2009, we had 2-5, in fifth set, two breaks down, but we won the match with Rogier Wassenn 9-7 in the end. Also Davis Cup point with Andrej Martin in Romania in 2015 was great, we beat great doubles players. It was emotional. With Filip Polasek it was special in Ukraine, when we grabbed the third point to make it 2-1."

"I moved to a new club and to EMPIRE Tennis Academy, because I did have no facilities in my previous club. In TC EMPIRE I have what it takes to continue successfully my tennis career. It is closer to me to Trnava than going every day to Bratislava from Nove Mesto nad Vahom, where I live. Things are going very well in Trnava. Club is growing bigger and bigger, they are building another tennis hall, which suits perfectly for top tennis.“
