"I have started with tennis at the primary school in Komarno, when I was seven years old.  I was persuaded by my classmate to do it, so I tried. But three weeks later, she stopped to play tennis because I had won against her. When I came up with this idea at home, my parents just looked at me and did not even know whether we had the tennis club and tennis courts in Komarno. I remember that in the beginning, I was playing with borrowed racquet. My dad told me that if I wanted him to buy me a new racquet, first I had to be serious about playing. My first coach was Zoltan Kovacs. We were playing in groups at first and two years later I started to train individually."

"I've achieved my first big success when I was 10 years old. I became the Slovak U12 singles champion in 2004. As a member of the club TK Kupele Piestany, I received the tennis award "Talent of the year 2007“ in Slovakia. In that time, I was the Tennis Europe player of the Year in the category 14 & under. Back then, I was very unaware of what I had achieved, but it was a good feeling. In the junior age I played in three Grand Slams tournaments (2009 Roland Garros, 2009 Wimbledon & 2010 Australian Open). I was the most successful at the 2009 Wimbledon when I reached doubles quarterfinals partnering Jana Cepelova. We won the U16 European Championship with Chantal Skamlova from Slovakia."

"I used to play on the courts in Prostejov in Moravia until I was 19. The club TC EMPIRE Trnava was advised to me by my coach Erik Csarnakovics. I have been training here since 2014 when I’ve become a member of EMPIRE Tennis Academy. The club is one of the best in Slovakia now, if not the best. I have very good conditions, I like it here and I'm living here, too. Regarding the daily program, I have morning warm-up, then I have an individual training with a tennis coach. It is followed by lunch, rest and we train in the afternoon either here or in Bratislava in the LOVE TENNIS 4 club. Some days I just regenerate and have treatment from the physiotherapist. I'm definitely looking forward to the new EMPIRE Tennis Academy because the good players from abroad will come to play here."

Martin Durdik: "She knows how to come to volley, she's not afraid of it. She plays a lot of doubles matches at the tournaments, she has twelve doubles titles. She has a very good feel for return shot, probably one of the best in our club. Due to the enhanced physical training and supervision of Maros Molnar, she is also improving in this area."
