Young Israeli tennis players and coaches spent a week in EMPIRE Tennis Academy: We have been treated very well in Trnava, they said

EMPIRE Tennis Academy's weekly camp had been attended by young players and coaches from Ashkelon – coastal city in the Southern District of Israel.  Members of the club had been chosen this place in Slovakia based on positive responses from web. They had not any reason to regret their decision. “It was a positive experience for us and also for our children," said for www.empire-tennis-academy.com one of Israeli club’s coaches Asi Shaul.

Asi Shaul had been visiting Slovakia for the second time. "I love your country, local conditions and weather too. Some of our children had played for the first time in clay courts here. We came to Trnava and organized everything together with your sports director Tomas Boleman. We had a chance to see some academy’s photos on website. And we had been seen also high-quality club´s facilities including outdoor and indoor courts. We liked it, so we made agreement with club and travel here," continued Shaul for www.empire-tennis-academy.com.

There were 32 children in Israeli groups together with three coaches: Asi Shaul, Shaya Azer and Anastasia Kalmova. The children were from 10 to 16 years old. "Every morning we started at eight o'clock. Then we had breakfast and from 9 to 12 we continued with tennis trainings. Then came lunch and after that we had second trainings part – from 4 pm to 6 pm. Sometimes we took our children to the swimming pool, sometimes just to the city," described one of the coaches daily schedule routine. He was welcoming positive impact of this camp to the club members.

"It was something new to them. They have got a chance to learn something different and get knowledge in another country. They have possibility to meet new kids, coaches. It was positive and worth-full experience for them. We met here just pleasant persons, people were smiling, we felt here comfortable. We came back in the next year again," said coach.

Israeli players are from a tennis club lying in the Southern District of Israel. They are from Ashkelon, from city which has about 130,000 inhabitants. The city is just one hour travel by car from Tel Aviv. Some children from this camp are coming home, but Shaul has for juniors different plan. “I will travel with six boys to international junior tournament in Zilina," he added.
